While Eric G is generally the most vocal of the Clipmarks team, Clipmarks is in fact a team. I am not calling for action by one or any of them. Any action they deem appropriate they will undertake of their own volition. I just thought it should again be called to community's attention that Kronfield persists in his racial slurs so people understand what he is about if they read any of his clips in which he doesn't expose himself in this manner. He's an ass for doing so. I'm sure he feels the same for me in my action. He's clueless. BBear-This clip raises some difficult and sensitive issues. I will try to keep my comments very brief. My belief is that people with racist views should be allowed to have their say. I consider racism to be vile,as well as ignorant. But I believe that giving racists an opportunity to speak helps to reveal the ignorance, hatred and insecurity behind their belief. Once someone shows their blatant racism (as pkronfield has more then once) I no longer consider them someone I'd wish to engage in comments with. To me trying to reason with a racist is like trying to reason with a drunk. What should the clipmarks team do? Like yourself I call for no action. But I don't run the site. I think pkr sho... Agree with last comment. It is good to be reminded of the prevalence of racism. And, alas, of the torment of lost souls with no love in their decayed heart. That's almost tempered for him. Looks formatted for the iPhone Does anyone here remember about a couple of months back, on some clip,there was a whole mess of spam type comments being made. They used different handles using random letters like bbbccaddfg and they were all anti-obama and/or racist and looked a lot like something pkronfield would write? Fear and ignorance should not be swept under the rug where they can fester and grow stronger. They should be exposed to the light and be shown for what they are. As a relative newcomer to the Clipmarks.com community, I am pleased there is just solidarity against abysmal rantings of this nature - surely we - as I have found out a friendly Clipping society - should concentrate on clipping clips, and leave politics to the clips we clip. I would also like to say that I disagree with a minority of clippers using this site for there own ends, i.e. advertising - this should not be a platform for Personal Blog sites, good as they may be. The idea is to provide interesting information on a daily news basis on an as wide as possible format to satisfy as many people on the site as possible. THOSE WHO REGULARLY SUPPORT PKRONFIELD AND ALLOW HIM TO BE THERE SPOKES-PERSON MOUTHPIECE ON RACIST SPITS. SHOULD BE EXPOSED ALONG WITH HIM. THE COMMUNITY SHOULD OSTRACISE'S THEM EQUALLY- WE ALL KNOW WHO THEY ARE ? [ STOP POPPING THEM] DO YOU WANT ME TO NAME NAMES. I believe that "racist remarks" are in the eye of the beholder. We all know that anyone can work this issue to their advantage and make their points. I read some pretty disgusting comments here...but that is just my opinion and a reflection of my own personal sentiments. I have learned that freedom of speech includes letting someone say what they believe/think. I don't have to necessarily agree; but I am concerned that only current, politically correct, liberal-minded opinions are well-received while those of conservatives are denounced with severe and hateful responses. Frankly, the rancor has driven many away and discouraged some from participating in discussions. I never pay attention to anything pkronfield posts or clips. Even this comment is more than he deserves. He has lots of little brothers, too. I believe that "racist remarks" are in the eye of the beholder.I would tend to agree. I also am fearful of abuse in mislabeling those opinions we don't like or agree with. However in this case we have the actual comment of pkronfield from his own clip. What better way for each of us to "behold" his remarks in their proper context. His words are as he put them, no one has twisted them around or otherwise distorted his position. I'd love to hear anyone attempt to explain to me how his statement can be taken as anything but racist.
