I'm a nobody when it comes to understanding all these things, and I was not even born in America, but this is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen America do to the democratic process.

Although it is clear that it could be very dangerous for Obama. It will be interesting to see how this "move" pans out.

This whole election seems exceptionally bizarre to me. I'm not sure I can stand another 6 weeks of everything under the microscope.

Why would you be otherwise?
It implies that the majority of the time you are lying.
If that is the case why should I trust you in the first place?
A general observation on the title. The content is nonsense when considering the impact of the title.

Leading any statement with a declaration of honesty implies that all past statements, unless specifically noted, have been lies. That makes one a liar in my book.

Well stated. But I do believe that the candidates need to be involved in this. I'm willing, as a citizen, to even push back the election date if it will help. People need to know in advance the direction of their trains.

Obama is right, on one hand, that the candidates should be able to multi-task. But on the other hand, let's get serious. Would we rather wait to find out on Nov 4, who's going to get stuck with the responsibility, or should they take Bush's offer to help in advance so it's not more of an overwhelming feat on January 2.

I guess what I'm saying is that Bush could just sit back and say 'screw it... not my problem.' I see his 'call in' for a meeting as being ...
