Isn't there a corollary to Godwin's Law that the first person to broach it automatically loses the debate? Godwin's Law is evoked when someone says the certain Austrian dictator's name, not when Nazis are mentioned. According to the Godwin's Law FAQ site, subtitled "How to post about Nazis and get away with it", the rule also covers associates and fellow travellers. But not collective groups, like Nazis. Now, if you mentioned the Austrian gentleman's very special personal police force, then that's a very different thing. I don't get why it's ok for the Palestinians to repeatedly commit terrorist acts against Israelis but when they get fed up and act people blame the Israelis. It's the Israelis that actually gave up their land for peace and then the terrorists are just that much closer to shoot rockets off at them. Hamas and others will not be happy until Israel is no more and their leaders have said that. And that's ok? I think not. It's not okay, but everything the Palestinain extremists (not the typical Palestinians, remember) is in response to the horrible things that Israel does to them. It is entirely within Israel's power to stop the extremists; all they have to do is stop barricading and stealing Palestinian land, and stop sending in tanks and bulldozers to kill innocent Palestinians and destroy homes and businesses. Hamas and the others will be happy when the Israeli Apartheid stops, and they can live in peace on their own land.
