coconutshell says: I don't usually like fashion-y stuff and whatnots like this, but a UK size 12 (I think it's a US 10?) is considered a plus size? Come on! Comparing the 2 models, Ms. Hunter fills her suit out much better than Ms. Berglund... Bring on the plus sizes then!! I know which one I prefer! Phat chicks, rule! (I speak from experience It is a shame that she quit the agency and went to a 'over-sized' one. Let's get the contact detail of the agency she quit and send them our views. Size 14+ is the average in UK, I live here I know. Only young teens are size 12. Unfortunately a lot of models ARE 14-18 years old, modeling clothes for adults (20s -40s) Take a look around the shops on a Saturday, most women are 14-18(!) Bring back curves A size 12 is plus size ? What a truely warped world fashion is. SJS, not only teens are a size 12. She looks hungry... the fashion industry has a vested interest in keeping the clothes as small as possible. When people buy haute couture, if they can fit into the original design with no tailoring or re-sizing they can save as much as 30% off the total price. impossibly small models = impossibly small clothes = more money for design houses. |
