One of the lessons I acquired in life was to never learn how to do any labor that requires skill because you might have to do it for a living and be at the mercy of some taskmaster. When I was 40 years old, I tried an experiment on myself. Everyday, I would write down 20 ideas in a notebook that I thought would improve my status in life, making sure that I never wrote the same idea down twice. Most of the ideas stunk, but one day, after months of exercising the creative centers of my Right Brain, st... Some companies(like the one I work for) can now lay you off but keep you connected in such a way that you can not receive unemployment. |
