She had been accused of causing bodily harm to Mugarura.

The crowd searched for the penis for hours in vain.

Residents chased the dog, recovered the penis  and handed it over to the Police. It was later taken to Mbarara Central Police Station as an exhibit. A bleeding Mugarura was rushed to Mbarara Hospital.
