The reason they aren't writing jokes is summed up in what Stewart said, "So far, our take is that he is positioning himself to be on a coin". They are so in the tank for Obama. At least they are honest. What puzzles me is that they must know by now he doesn't have any new ideas. He doesn't have any friends that he won't throw under a bus. He, as it turns out, is just another politician who thinks he can get away with saying one thing to one audience, another to another and then deny he ever said or took any position. This guy is not even slick about it and in this day and age EVERYTHING is on video. But everyone is giving him a pass. And for what. SO that we can have Carter part II. JEesh!

Only someone with an Olympian size ego would decide to deliver his acceptance speech at Invesco Field. Obama hasn't even been nominated yet wants to hold a rally at Germany's Brandenburg Gate. Obama campaign's presumptuousness in creating its own presidential seal is actually causing him to ratchet up his pursuit of more and more praise.

Gee...I've never watched the "Daily Show" but Stewart is right. Months ago conservatives were warned not to talk about Obama's inexperience, his race (or lack thereof), his voting record, his wife, his pastor, his ears, his father, mother, grandmother, etc..... Everything ever said would be tracked back to racism. Which it is!

THE President has been called every name in the book, a liar, a traitor, a criminal, made fun of like no other; and now, McCain also.

I've seen clips about how the Left is smarter and more open to different ideas. We cannot laugh at ourselves?

The left is only open minded about being open minded. Anything else and they react like a real human being, fear of the unknown.

The only reason why Stewart can get away with it, people tend not to think of him as white. They think of him as Jewish, the other white (and tan-ish brown) meat. A joke about race from someone Jewish is hardly ever seen as being supremacist. Point of reference: The brilliant comedy of Mel Brooks.

For me, the Big O is not about race, religion, or names. Its political dogma. I like my assault rifles, handguns, and semi-auto combat shotguns. Given the decay of our morality and economy, I may need them before my life is over (hopefully in the gray ones). Beware, the...
