Yeah, I guess, if you call being stuck in a narrow water-filled tube "lucky"

Well, to be fair, they are not stuck in it...In fact they have 2 tanks to choose from, one at each end of the tube.

I've seen a small scale version of this that you can buy retail. It's just a tube that arches from one end of the tank to the other. This is just awesome. I am def going to do this someday....

I'd love to have a set up similar to this, with lots of plants in one tank, fewer in the other. My only concern is algae growing in the connecting tube. The design would have to allow for cleaning the tube unless you had a very efficient filtration system from the very start. Very interesting clip!

gingembre, I was wondering about the cleaning too.

How fun for the fish, moreso than the usual one tank. The fish get to go somewhere. I wonder if the fish would prefer one tank over the other, or bully another fish out of "his" tank.

I saw a set up similar to this at a restaurant Disney World , The fished cruised all over the restaurant in these large tubes and they had several large tanks to hang out in. Can’t remember the name something to do with Rain Forests though

Rain Forest Cafe... Been there. Very cool place to go but somewhat over priced for the food. Either way, it's one of those places that you have to go like planet hollywood or hard rock cafe. Food is def not "great" at any of them, but the one time experience is worth it in my book...
