sillysam says: Before the interview was arranged, Obama and his staff held a closed door meeting with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes to discuss his network's media coverage of the presidential election. According to Ailes, Obama wanted to know if he would get a "fair shake" from Fox. Ailes told the Washington Post he replied, "Senator, you're the one who boycotted us. We're not the ones who boycotted you. Nor did we retaliate for your boycott." In other words, for years Obama has been dead wrong on the most important foreign policy issue facing this nation while McCain was right. McCain should work that into his speech tonight. McCain should work that into his speech tonight. Sending an email now, but it's probably too late. So...will Obama "just be another 4 yrs of Bush"? now that he's seen the light and recognizes that it was the right thing to do regardless of all his *advisers*? The President has been on my bad-side on a couple of things...(but who isn't)...but the surge was a no-brainer. Reality has hit the fan for Obama or anyone else who wants to look at the facts and see the results. McCain, Obama Agree to Fall Debate Schedule All four debates, which are being sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates, start at 9 p.m. ET and will last for about 90 minutes. The first debate, on foreign policy and national security, will be held Sept. 26 at the University of Mississippi and moderated by Jim Lehrer, host of “The NewsHour” on PBS. The second one will be a town hall debate moderated by NBC’s Tom Brokaw on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville. All the questions will come from the audience or the Internet. The third debate, on domestic and economic policy, will be held Oct. 15 at Hofstra University in New York. CBS’ Bob Schieffer will mod... Exactly. How many times have we seen this just regarding Iraq? But, he still couldn't bring himself to say, "you're right, Bill, I got that one wrong". There are 3 or 4 more segments of the interview beginning Mon night. Can't wait |
