My grandmother used to eat grasshoppers. She would eat them like crisps. We had this huge bag in the freezer, and mum will put some in a bowel for her to munch on. I can't seem to remembre if anything is done to it afterward (cooked, or something) .And you're right alan, the crackling noise was terrible, to me though, she looked like she enjoyed it.
