I just turned 60 a couple weeks ago, and I can remember quite clearly, when years ago, I would laugh when I heard about people of that age or above engaging in sexual relations. It was a huge joke to me and my contemporaries. I have come to change my mind of this subject, and I think educating our seniors about HIV and AIDS as well as how to prevent those and other STDs is very important. I have learned that when we go up in age, other things do not automatically go down.

I've heard this is a big problem in nursing homes and retirement centers. An older woman told me once, "You young people think you invented sex!"
