Is anyone old enough to remember pens and filing cabinets? Telephones and the not connected to the internet credit card stamper thingy?
Sadly I'm forced to admit that I'd rather raise my own food and make toys for my kids to play with and ride a horse to my neighbors to find out about whats happened locally once a week than to be addicted to the devices I make my shabby living with. We are so boned when the electricity gets stopped for whatever reason

Proud to say that the company I work for sends all of our electronic "schtuff" to a company that dis-assembles and recycles 95% of the materials. These recyclers will definitely have job security for a long time to come!
