Of course it is good news that there are less deaths etc in Iraq, but i am sure that does nothing to comfort all those that have lost family and friends to a war that was based on lies and deceit.

And in case anyone has failed to notice the freedom you had in the USA is fast disappearing , and any idea that Americans around the world are safer is just wishful thinking.

And also now any Americans who are taken captive by others for any reason can just forget things like Geneva convention, rule of law, or humanitarian treatment.

Even "our guys" who were captured during the first Gulf war were treated better than some of those now held captive by the USA.

I met a guy today who had a "for sale" sign in a creaky old '74 Winnebago;he mentioned he was in Nam; thanked him for his service. His eyes got glassy for a second.
I was glad I thought to follow the suggestion we've been hearing more of lately.
I recommend it.
