After reading the comments at the source page, several people have suggested that some of this information is not quite accurate. There seems to be a lot of typos in the article, too. So I'm not sure what's going on at LiveScience.

I'm not sure about parrot linguistic processing being near the level of a 4 to 6 year-old......hmmmm
