This is waste on a ridiculous scale. We are overfishing - the Med has no big fish - and yet we still encourage this waste. This has to stop!

Few if any of these fish would survive because trawling ruptures their swim bladders.

Well, only man is equal to nature in destructive power...it's too bad we can't figure out ways to restore with equal vengance. Or maybe grandiose ways to achieve sustainable methods of living, on a grand, global scale
