This could get pretty gross, very quickly. Musharraf is, as the article says, the 'West's alternative to radical Islamists,' and yet his behavior is very similar to the behavior we accuse Ahmadinejad of. And yet, Iran has open elections, and in Pakistan protesters are in jail. Something's fucked here.
