Fun little exercise...but I failed! Old brain, I guess or ...wha? Cool test, but there could be any different "connections" between the words. Like tre-car could be spring.... ouppps... tree-car/ leaf-spring etc. What about ship/card board?, or tree/car top army/water canteen bed/paper d(ream) Well, maybe I was using the wrong part of my brain. Seems like the kind of thing that could have a few right answers. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who "overshot" and came up with the tree-car/leaf, ship-card/board and army-water/canteen combinations. I was looking at the expected responses and thinking I must jut be kinda out there. LOL In all seriousness, though, I think what someone might find to be common between two words may have something to do with what their usual interests are. For example, my father used to work for a company named "Canteen," so that's a word I heard used around my home a lot, making me more likely to think of it in some situations than someone else might be. Someone who works on or around cars may be more likely to think of "leaf" as the tree-car connection since they ... |
