These days, the Internet is as indispensable to an officer's arsenal as his gun and handcuffs. Indeed, a growing number of officers are being assigned to patrol cyberspace..."Technology just makes the park no longer the only place where the pervert goes," West said. The problem is going to get worse, authorities said. Every day, more homes, businesses and entire jurisdictions are outfitted with wireless networks, creating an almost seamless patchwork of available Internet connections to anyone with a laptop and the desire to get online.

Trading 1's and 0'es is ILLEGAL and you are a CRIMINAL... it even sounds retarded.

What kind of dumb fucks would support cops that crap on heads of honest people just surfing the web when they are at the same time never able to catch the real criminals that actually do REAL harm to people? Idiotic. Yes, go steal all of grandmother's money because her CRIMINAL kid downloaded 5 mp3's with the parent's computer and empty the grandpa's retirement fund to pay for the fat fuck's donuts because the grandpa was one of rare old farts that knows how to drive with normal speed and not obscure traffic flow.

1. People locked their WiFi with good security.
2. Cops were properly trained/had tools to find the real culprits.
