Nothing short of apocalyptic. Our most valuable resource -- rain forest -- made to contribute enormously to climate change, rather than mitigate, not to mention the ecocide. This should be a far greater priority for the "international community" to stop, now. Stopping the importing of palm oil would be a good start.
