I knew about this technology before it was ever announced. Check my comments in my clipmarks about wind energy and you'll see I wrote about a vertical tube wind powered generator that uses very little space. It's nice knowing the future sometimes, other times it really sucks.

If this concept can be a reality...and it will help so many people without hurting the environment we live in...why did we put men on the moon first instead of doing this?

Self sufficiency in energy takes money away from the oil producers. A government based on corporate power won't like that. We could have developed these a long time ago, but all the tax breaks went to oil, and away from alternative energy. Wonder how that happened!
