My prediction: twenty years from now, business school textbooks are going to include a chapter on Meebo. This is a "web 2.0" startup that's doing everything right. Everything. Mark my words. As for the technology itself, meebo's almost better than a desktop tool, frankly. The only thing they're missing is pop-up presence notifications.

I'm a gigantic fan of meebo. They found a huge "pain point" for a lot of people. It sucks trying to use IM on someone else's computer. What's amazing is that they addressed the problem so well that many give up their IM clients completely and simply use meebo.

I don't want to give away too much, but we're definitely taking notes Meebo me was an incredible way to spread their product beyond meebo.com. Clip-to-blog came from discussions about that general idea.
