Great tips! I find posture is very important in the way others perceive you. It's interesting because I work out, I tend to carry myself a certain way and I have noticed people's reactions to it. You are perceived as being strong and self-confident even if you lack those traits. I like to make an immediate word/name connection with people when introduced. But I think too many compliments can be perceived as being insincere. Having said that, don't be afraid to compliment people. So many people are either insecure or envious and won't compliment others for that reason, but it feels good to tell others nice things; try it!
