This chart from the Heritage Foundation's 2006 Federal Revenue and Spending report shows the sudden increase in federal spending unleashed as soon as the Republicans took over Washington in 2002. It hasn't slowed yet.

Can you expect it to? Not with the way the Gov't is going these days. I would like to hope so, but will we see a change come election day. Even if we do, another party, another smell. Our society has become quite polarized with the way the rest of the global sees (the) US. Much less how we see other Americans. I am so disappointed with how this administration has desecrated the Constitution, most notably privacy of the citizens and due process.

This reminds me of a novel. Just call me, Okonwko.
