Soffriggete la cipolla con l'aglio in una padella con un po' di olio. Aggiungete le spezie ed il peperoncino fresco o secco e lasciate rosolare. A parte cuocete il riso basmati, mentre in un altro pentolino fate rosolare la mollica di pane in un po' di olio. Versate i ceci già cotti nella padella con la cipolla e fateli saltare per farli insaporire.
