The article is pretty nutty. In essence its say that turbines are ugly and since they haven't halted GHG emissions already then the entire plan is a failure.

If there is a challenge against wind turbines then the serious questions to ask are 1) does it generate electricity at an acceptable sustainable rate 2) does it emit pollutants that are contrary to the environment 3) is there PROOF that turbines are detrimental to human health

"It looks ugly on the skyline" simply isn't a good enough argument and is pretty arrogant. Urban legand stories about medical problems don't count unless there is factual data.

If you check the clippers clip collection they are chock full of anti-windpower topics. No surpise that this one is as well. Seems the clipper lives in an area where they wanted to develop said wind farms and was opposed to the idea for whatever reasons.

Why is it no one seems willing to discuss how ugly power lines are? I'd rather look at turbines than powerlines.
