Masbury, you appear to me to be a very intelligent person. How is it you do not see the possibility of coverage for illegal immigrants, abortion, and government takeover as not being a threat? Do you question the government or take them at their word?
We are paying for abortions now. We are giving illegals free medical care now. We are watching the government takeover now. How is this health care bill not a threat that we should all be concerned about?

You are appear also not dumb, jay8h. What those obscure questions are for? Everything was discussed during election campaign and people made their choice. It would be good if you bring up some reasonable objections; now it's looking as shameless obstruction of natural progress.

You've failed to explain how a government takeover of healthcare is bad, Jay (not that the option for that is even anywhere in the legislation). Government-run healthcare works much better than Corporate-run Healthcare. Medicare is the #1 rated government service. All of the G20 nations, other than the US, have Universal Government Healthcare, and they all rank in the top 20 Healthcare Systems in the world. America's pathetic Commercial Healthcare system ranks a measly 37th, down among Third-World nations in ranking.
