The younger people in American society are paving the way for a more liberal America and for acceptance of gays and other minority rights. Let's hope, as they age, they do not curdle into those right-wing conservatives who hate everyone who does not look or believe exactly as they do. I have great hope for this new crop of Americans. It is up to us elders who feel as they do, to nurture their beliefs and validate their priorities.
