The new 2010 GMC Terrain is all set for a debut at the New York Auto Show, and the five-passenger crossover SUV does have some impressive figures to root for. There are two engine options, a 2.4-l four-cylinder engine, and a 3.0-l DOHC direct injection V6. The main attraction for the 2.4-l engine is its segment-topping fuel efficiency of 30mpg. On a press of the “ECO” mode console-mounted button, the vehicle goes into fuel saving gear, lowering the torque converter lockup speed to 1,125 rpm and providing better fuel efficiency.
