egoldstein says: If you guessed Donald Rumsfeld, you're right! If this is old news that you all knew about, i'm sorry for posting. I just learned this...my goodness, this world never ceases to amaze me!!! LIke they say..... war is money....Rummy's made and is making lots of it. Amazing ... I had no idea. I knew he was cuddly with Saddam for a while there, but this is new to me. I think politics are so complicated, and corrupt, and it's hard to get the American public interested or concerned about how our government really runs business; most people are too busy just trying to earn a living, and I can't blame them for wanting to "tune out". This is more pathetic bashing. Rumsfeld sits on the board of dozens of companies... Guess who was president of a country that sold nuclear reactors to NK. um.. no body is bashing him.. they are just pointing out the facts Acting as though Rumsfeld sitting on the board of a particular company is news and associating that with Rumsfeld's integrity is bashing. I am sure there is at least one prominent Dem that also sits on the board of that company. ...and to sidestep the fact the possibilty of this transaction existed because of the decision of Clinton is ignoring the real fact. guess what, that was the deal the US made to try to keep NK from developing their on Nuclear program. We'd help them with nuclear power if they stayed out of the weapons business. a reactor and a warhead are completely different. good info willhelm and packinheat...appreciate the knowledge. Guess who sold the technology to (make the bomb) North Korea. If you guess "America's largest non-NATO ally and a major partner in the War on Terror" Pakistan, you're right. It's pathetic how Bush actually tried to shield Pakistan after the AQ Khan incident. Sohil, Activists and criminals inside Pakistan - is not Pakistan. You still refuse to see the real reason for the problem and attempt to place blame where it should not belong. This is a gross display. It is obvious that there are those that care nothing about the truth, just hating someone with which they disagree. willhelm's right on this one. This story is a total nonstarter for critics of Rumsfeld. The guy's screwed up in plenty of other ways -- this doesn't matter that much. I retract my previous comment. Meh, I have to agree too.. though as a board member, one should know what one's company is up to. But most do not. Damn you will! . This is a gross display. It is obvious that there are those that care nothing about the truth, just hating someone with which they disagree..... and I retract this statement. It's good to see there is still some integrity out there. |
