What an odd pairing. High fashion vs fried cake? Recently both have been seen to cave to PC fringe groups over messages they sent. Dunkin Donuts with its "terrorist" scarved spokesperson, Rachael Ray and now this, Sharon Stone making a comment about "karma" in relationship with the recent earthquakes in China. Both companies acted irresponsibly over silly, non-issues.

Malkin-ites are claiming Rachael *should* have known what the scarf symbolized because she has previously hawked clothing items favored by terrorists. (Take a gander at Malkin's blog. If you don't become dehydrated from vomiting after reading it.) After managing to read a few posts, I came to the conclusion that identifying fundie xtian 'meriken patriots will be really easy here in the near future: they'll be naked because they won't want to wear anything that ever symbolized something in the past.

So who is really being "PC"? They claim it's the "leftist nutjobs"...

There are some really insane people living on this planet.

LOL! I've been known to venture into the realm of the Right on occasion and always find it strangely disconcerting. The cognitive dissonance is mind blowing. To reject reality over such a long period of time must be extremely exhausting. Stone's comments about the earth quake seem very much in line with with Falwell and New Orleans. The conflating of a paisley scarf with terrorists shows the same lack of mental acuity. Yet, supposedly rational people buy into it. Makes you wonder!
