Number 1. - I doubt "Information gleaned by CIA spies in Britain has already helped thwart several terrorist attacks in the UK ."

In fact I think it's the opposite. I think UK intelligence has helped the CIA - it's really the other way around and not only has John Wayne been given a loaded gun but is placing himself in front of a Hollywood camera and claiming he's single-handedly won the war.

Not 'old-fashion," but more like what the comment from the Brits is in this clip: "queasy."

Yes, 'queasy.' It's more appropriate, most people think -- and like the Brits mention in the clip -- sort of appropriate to arrest people, have a trial, get a judgement by a jury, then a judge passes a sentence and then...then a person might get killed by the state.

Don't we do that anymore?

The idea that someone, somehow 'gets implicated,' and then U.S. missile drones are flying around to blow him up is a bit disconcerting.

Who is the judge and jury?

What is the evidence?

Would it hold up in court?

Then, of course, there is a natural racism and classicism in all this: What if one of the British princes' was 'implicated,' in something the CIA didn't like.

Prince Harry, I understand, has been caught on film wearing Nazi uniforms, making racist remarks to fellow soldiers, boozing it up at wild parties, not always being nice (sniff) to his girlfriend, etc.

So what if Prince Harry gets drunk, puts on a Taliban outfit and starts shouting: "Death to America!"

Well...are we going to send over a missile drone to blow him up?

Probably not.
