A fantastic column from George Will on they latest doom-and-gloom from the global warming crowd. Of course, they're losing a bit of steam lately. Literally!

I was pleased to learn that there will be close to 100 scientists at the upcoming global warming conference who aren't afraid to speak up against the hysteria.

Perhaps these people will explain the weather these days. There are a lot of Australians who have become painfully aware that this weather has no precedent. A drought that has seen temperatures not recorded before, cyclones - greater ferocity and frequency, the death of our largest river,
but no icebergs. I have noticed a lot more warnings to shipping with regard to these. Can't understand where they are coming from if the icecaps aren't melting.
Make sure you leave a note in your memoirs for your grandchildren about your attitude to global warming.
