ekorstanje says: I guess that takes care of stay the course We really need a new, new way forward. Or a backwards way out of there! What a f**cking mess I think it (the heightening barrage of attacks) has been planned, for a long time, to eventually be this way, Iraq never wanted our help in the beginning. Recall that they said we could intervene but we had to promise to pull out as soon as Sadam was captured. As far as I'm concerned, we are only failing in the sense of not pulling out sooner. However, the leader and the civilians who want peace have to be willing to step up to the plate at all costs. Instead, the civilian police are cowardly leaving their posts to join in the insurgency. It's all BS anymore. The country is a mess and we were not totally to blame. We were simply ignorant for thinking we could make it all better. People have to be willing to help themselves - as the saying goes.... "God helps those who help themselves." And it's clearly working for the insurgents. So how is it that evil outweighs the good over there? That's not a question that has to be answered. It's... |
