Sorry to break this to you but higher taxes have some positives. Taxes are the sustenance to any for civic community, state, country or union. Have you traveled to Canada, the EU....Scandinavia? did you notice how clean, civilized, educated, healthy, safe, and well most of the citizens are living? It's no accident or fluke or miracle economy. It's due high taxes. So stop complaining about tax increases and start thinking more civic minded and united for bettering a county in dire need of levity. There are more MRI machines in the city of Philadelphia than in the entire country of Canada. And I wouldn't call the baby killers civilized. And safe? Ha! How about you go to Paris and walk into a Muslim neighborhood and tell me how safe it is. Take a look at the birth rate in Europe. The continent is dieing. Why? Because they have no hope for the future. As for higher taxes? Higher taxes shrink the economy and everyone suffers. Lower taxes increase the revenue flowing into the treasury so that we have more money to spend on cleaning streets.
