Hahaha! This reminds me of a story:

When I was a little boy (like, just learning to talk and walk), my parents were pretty big, uh... party people (we'll leave it there; they have good jobs now). In order to get a laugh out of their friends during said parties, they taught me to say two phrases: "nuclear physics" and "indubitably." So, just get that mental picture: an eight month old baby walking up to you and going: "indubitably." To this day, I'm one of three people I know who can actually say that word correctly.

I'm of 2 minds on the flashcards. I've heard that there's all sorts of things you can do to encourage intelligence, but it seems that the line between wanting the best for your child and pushing them to be "the best" all the time is pretty blurry.

But yeah, I'll probably get a set of these when the time comes
