The Meaning of Life with Gay Byrne They don't surprise me. The Troubles were never about religion. The religious markers simply stood for national/ethic ones. To be Catholic was (and still is) to be considered native born, while Protestants consider themselves English/British, hence the term Unionist. Do the links above work?
