I was channel surfing last night and came across some guy named Hal Lindsey giving a "report" on that very subject. His basic premise was that it was Democrats fault (he specifically mentioned Dem. presidents) there was a gas crisis in the 70's and that it was an outrage to be asked to conserve usage of gas, amongst other things. He didn't have a solution, though, which I thought was far more telling about his position than the words coming out of his mouth. The Blame game is a waste of time. @papanoo, I most certainly agree.. Oh, please..."55 miles per hour" is the lamest of arguments, and entirely irrational to the physical Law of Momentum. (Think about it). Why do half truths always have to support the leftist agenda? Tired of the republi-crats baiting people with distorted information into their own agendas, BOTH contrary to freedom The Dems want a Nanny State. The neo-conservative hijacked Repubs want a Security State. BOTH ARE TOTALITARIAN, using the plea of "necessity". When I read this it just boggles the mind.Scientific denial, economic greed, fascism to the enth degree. Hannibal is at the gates. I think that anything that does not continue to polarize the US from the rest of the world with an "us verses them " mindset is definitely a prerequisite for any hope of longterm peace and security for the planet otherwise its back to Mutually Assured Destruction and the US can't possibly expect to continue to alienate itself from the rest of the world forever with its bully, arrogant attitude of supremacy. |
