I do not profess perfection in thought word or deed, as I am sure that you can attest that no human being is so... as you can tell from the nature of my clips (as you have popped some of them), that one of my goals is to improve myself as a person.

I do think if you evaluate the column inches of press and the minutes of soundbytes...

I do think if you evaluate the column inches of press and the minutes of soundbytes on Brit and compare it to something very important, like Civil Rights, and contrast the amount of time this has made its way into public consciousness, you might agree with me tht the public meltdown of one pop star is hardly worth it in comparison.

For me, clipmarks is a quick way for me to remind myself of things I find important, I sling a few comments out, mainly talking aloud to myself. If I appear cavalier, then this is just one more emotion in the day of a complex human being, of which, you are one as well.

If you find my comments offensive, you don't have to read them. You have plenty of friends that you can agree with and that is fine with me.

I appreciate your sharing my own clip with me as a reminder of my faults and foibles. I invite you to do the same with your own interpretations as I did not direct the initial clip or comments at you.

I do not want this to become a flame or slinging match as I value everyone's opinions, even those I disagree with. IMHO, sometimes it pays to step back from the clip community if one begins to take comments too personally.
