There was lots of news to cover on Anna Nicole with the trial going on, but there just isn't a whole lot of news with Walter Reed. It is just a much slower developing story and will still be talked about long after the Anna Nicole store is long gone (at least I hope so, I am sick of hearing about it). So while I can agree Fox has way over done the Anna Nicole story, I have to wonder why the other news has been so intent on rehashing the same old information on Walter Reed.

It's all about the numbers. As long as it brings in viewers, they'll send whatever will give them good ratings. Sex, drugs, beauty queens, mysteries and so on always sell well and Anna's story has it all. It says as much about the viewers, as it does about the media, I reckon. If folks didn't want to see it, then they wouldn't send it.

That's also why so much important stuff ISN'T sent, because it's 'boring' to a lot of folks or just not 'entertaining' enough. Entertainment value and ratings is what it's all about.
