“when the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.” (Jefferson again). If your Congressman or Senator is holding a town hall meeting near you, grab a torch and pitchfork (metaphorically speaking of course) and go! Let them know how you really feel. We are in the majority on this issue. Don’t be scared to get up to the microphone, and let them have it, “Be not intimidated…nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties…” (John Adams). Arm yourselves with knowledge and facts, and be a little forceful about it because, “what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance?” (Thomas Jefferson-He has so many good quotes). We need to continue to resist this assault on our Constitution and our liberty. We need to let our lawmakers know that we are not going to take this quietly.

We will not let this go down without a fight. We love our country and our liberty too much to sit back and let them re-make American into a European-socialist country…

Here are a few videos
showing that the spirit of resistance is still alive:

"Soldier educates Congresswoman about the Constitution”

"It will be a cold day in hell before he socializes my county"

“Just Say No!”

"Crowd Explodes When Arlen Specter Urges That We “Do This Fast”

“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” Samuel Adams
