					  Through remote control software injected by email spam and Web-based trojan horses, cyber criminals can gain full access to infected PCs.  By combining these "zombie" PCs, or "bots," into organized networks ("botnets"), criminals gain the power to launch Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, commit large-scale click-fraud, and distribute pornography, spam, and malicious content.  By loading hidden keylogging software, criminals also gain access to each bot’s personal data, including usernames, passwords, addresses and social security numbers, passing it back to organizations that sell credit card data for under one dollar and entire identities for 20 dollars or less.
