I guess Rob Kall has said what I've been thinking......Jerry is now in his heaven......At least he's not with us......makes me want to smile......I shouldn't think that way, but can't help it.

Think or write what you will, but I can assure you Jerry Falwell is now in a far better place and is being rewarded for his faith and obedience to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. He spoke out against political correctness and the "if it feels good, do it" lifestyles of today. To me, he was a brave soul who believed the Bible from cover to cover and didn't mind if others knew that. He may not have done or said everything exactly the way God wanted him to, but then I haven't done or said everything God wants me to do either.

I despised Falwell. His overwhelming arrogance made me gag.

He told our nation on 9/11 that GOD Himself punished us because we were too GOL-DURNED LIBERAL.

The best thing about this news story is that I will never have to look at his hoggish, mishapen, oily face again. Why the media ever sought out his opinions is puzzling - except if they were doing it for cynical reasons, to make Christians look laughably obtuse.

I'm glad to see post of people real thoughts. Not that I want them to too awful graphic, but this is good! I agree that he, Falwell, is neither in heaven nor hell seeing as the Bible teaches that man knows nothing after death and his thoughts perish with him.
Just for reference for those who care:
Psalms 6:5; Ps 146:4; Numbers 25:1-3; Acts 2:25-35;to name only a fraction.

Outfan, all I can say is that reward for hatred expressed is consistent with the other illogic found in the Evangelical message.

I have always found it incredible that a movement claiming the high ground regarding family values spews such hate.

When did hate become a family value?

"the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians" he might as well have continued with: "the FBI dancing with the junkies" - then he'd have had a cover of Dr Hook's "Freaker's Ball". Would have been fitting given that his entire raison d'etre was balls, balls and more balls.

Perhaps his Hell is being surrounded by purple Teletubbies all swinging little handbags.

Pillock. He was just too over the top to take seriously.
