Trivia about the battle of mabitac, Started by a Filipino Revolutionary General, Juan Cailles when he issued a war challenge. In response to the challenge, Colonel Cheatham of the US Forces ordered regiments to attack the camp at Mabitac, Laguna. Commanded by Captain David Mitchell. they were to attack the east and west of the camp and yet they headed straight through which ended up in the whole company being killed including the captain and a sergeant.
