What has come to be known as "conventional" farming methods are in fact new when compared to how it's alway been done by nature and humans before the advent of petro-chemicals. These newer, more "convenient" methods cause soil erosion as well. Not to mention petro-chemicals on my food? Yuck. No thanks.
