It violates the rights of Habeus Corpus guaranteed by the US Constitution. It violates International Law in relation to the War Crimes Act. It violates the Geneva Conventions.

Oh, you might say, it's only if you're an "unlawful enemy combatant" Then go read how they define that term. Look it up. Even petty criminals, peaceful protesters and such can be labeled as such.
