Rachel Corrie was an activist this part is true, she helped burn the American Flag with some Palestinian children she was working with just days before her death.She was working with the International Solidarity Movement ISM a group that vandalizes and encourages its member to break laws and lie to army and police.
Corrie was trying to block an army bulldozer that was knocking down homes of terrorists and buildings hiding tunnels through which weapons and explosives were being smuggled into Israel. These tunnels brought weapons from Egypt to the Gaza city of Rafiah. Some of those smuggled weapons probably responsible for the other Rachel's death above.
Did Rachel Corrie deserve to die? NO!!
Did she put herself in harms way by being where she did not belong? Yes
Was she used and still being used by propaganda? Damn Right!
Her death was a tragic accident but she stood in the blind spot of a Bulldozer, in a closed military zone and Private Lynch was serving her country I hardly see the similarities.
