Interesting - seems to be an acceptable model but I can't help thinking that they will discover one or two (at least) more styles as the studies develop. However, that could just be my ego balking at the idea that I (we) could be pigeon-holed into one of two types.

You can find the Fowler, et. al. original study here.There are clips on related topics here and here. The CNN report on this was careful to note that:

This doesn't mean, these scientists say, genes dictate how we think;
environment clearly plays a huge role. Nor does it mean there's a
Republican gene or a Democrat gene. Scientists who espouse the
genetics-politics connection say that probably hundreds of genes
influence how we think and how we see the world.

@grace - It appears you don't know how reporting works - the study did not originate from the LA Times, they just did what newspapers do - reported it. The study was led by James Fowler, who has something of a reputation in the field of political science.

But, then, if it isn't in the Big Sandy News or it comes from west of Limestone or Gimlet, it's only worth a laugh. Forget about the rest of the world. Those four new Lawrence County school buses are the really big story.

I dunno either Jojor, but it's kinda funny. Oh joy; she'll send me photo's and be my BBF, yummy, yummy. At least it's much more original than the homophobic statement from Grace5.

Which side would those two be on? (meaning grace5 and linda4u) or are they even for real.

debbyski, I didn't see Grace5's statement as homophobic so much as it was ignorant, anti-intellectual and rednecky.

Oh Tany,
I've seen the "side" of Grace and Lovely Linda, aka: whomever, too many times.

I didn't see Grace5's statement as homophobic so much as it was ignorant, anti-intellectual and rednecky.
That too, Jorjor.
