Why did Israel do a 'cease-fire'? Something isn't right that it just happen to coincide with Obama's inauguration. Hamas will regroup, continue it's movement against Fatah and Israel both...with the help of Syria and Iran.

I think Israel was blackmailed by the in-coming administration but given free reign by the Bush administration in it's last days....giving them time to do all the damage to Hamas that was militarily possible during that time. Now the restraints are back on.

If Hamas had been critically, irretrievably Fatah would be
back in control.

I find it interesting. They are both Muslim extremist groups, living in very close quarters, with 90% of the same goals and yet Hamas still wants Fatah neutered at the least, and/or destroyed also at the most.

Because one sold out to U.S./Israel, the other one did not. One won an election and yet got nothing for it, the other one corrupt, got rewarded.
