kkcapricorn, you might want to change your clip title. I thought 30 times was a lot, but 287?! Wow. I'm sure the parents just didn't know the phone could still call 911.

kkcapricorn, it's easy to change the title (or tags, etc). Under the clip, next to the number of pops is an edit button. I realize it was just a typo, but I thought 300 was so incredible that it seemed a shame for other clippers to miss it. I hope I didn't upset you. I just wanted as many clippers as possible to view your clip.

The little girl must have been very pleased with her "toy" phone when she reached a person to talk to. I remember how much my daughter loved her toy phone, passing the receiver back and forth between us so that we could carry on a phone conversation.

Until I read this article I hadn't thought about children playing with disabled cell phones and causing problems by calling 911 (a number we teach our kids at an early age). The ability to use disabled cell phones for emergencies has always been a plus--until this child showed us a problem. In the words of the wacky, wonderful Roseanne Roseannadanna, "it just goes to show you, it's always something."
