This country or should I say, the upper classes who control this country are so ignorant. By not caring about the dental health of lower/middle class children they create more trouble for our society in the future. When dental hygiene is neglected it creates other maladies like heart disease later on in life which will cost much more than a yearly dental exam and cleaning. Also, crooked and missing teeth accompanied by bad breath will make a person less employable and this could lead them to crime. People who have enough money to take care of themselves and their families, will pay in the long run for not believing the poor need help and should fend for themselves. In other words, their cold-heartedness may lead society to cultivating future criminals or sick individuals needing Medicaid and disability payments from the government. Neglecting the poor is NOT COST EFFICIENT!
